Hi [NAME],

Samsung Developer Conference 2019 is happening at the San Jose Convention Center on October 29–30, 2019, and I’d like your approval to attend. SDC19 is a valuable opportunity to gain practical knowledge directly from tech experts (check out a recap of SDC18 here). This is especially applicable to my work on [PROJECT X], [PROJECT Y] and [PROJECT Z].

There are many opportunities to meet one-on-one with Samsung engineers, attend hands-on technical sessions, test out the latest Samsung technology, and learn from peers. I’m most looking forward to hearing about the future of 5G, security, gaming, IoT, One UI and other tech trends, [OR INSERT TOPICS OF INTEREST HERE] and sharing insights with our team.

I estimate my attendance will cost [$], including travel, accommodations, and registration. Let me know if this works and we can work together to create a plan.

Thank you,

[NAME]
